Low quality hose collapses flat, stopping suction. I personally use certainly one of my hands to try and keep your hose round and functional. Once the hose is round and you’ve got situated the primary floor tool (which isn’t a brush) just right, the suction is nice – however the hose mostly collapses. Bent construction from the primary floor tool’s handle causes it to be hard to manouver if you have suction, and also the floor tool will get stuck under furniture due to the bent handle and lever on the ground tool which snags. The dusting brush includes a protective plastic guard around it stopping you against engaging in corners you are attempting to clean. The crevice tool is simply too short and stubby, also it will not remain in the slot meant for this around the vacuum — it’s constantly receding. I actually do, however, such as the Pet Energy Paw upholstery tool — that part is effective. My 1980’s Eureka Mighty Mite was a great affordable vacuum. The 550d is really a lemon.
